Team Collaboration

A farm can include an Owner, Editors, and Readers. The Owner manages invitations and removals.

Roles

Owner

The Owner can manage farm data, invites, and member access.

Editor

An Editor can create and change animals, groups, records, and conversations for the farm.

Reader

A Reader can view farm information but cannot create or change it.

Invite a member

1. Open Team.
2. Choose Invite Member.
3. Select Editor or Reader.
4. Choose Create Invite.
5. Send the generated invite link directly to the intended person.

Invite links expire. Do not post them publicly. The Owner can revoke a pending invite from the Team page.

Remove access

The Owner can remove an Editor or Reader from the Team page. Ranch.Bot asks for confirmation before removing the member. Their access ends, while existing farm records remain.

Plan shape

Team includes three people. Additional people are billed as seats on the same subscription up to eight total. Operations with more than eight people use Crew and work directly with Ranch.Bot. Current amounts live on the pricing page.

Common questions

Can an Editor invite someone?

No. Invite management is Owner-only.

Can a Reader confirm an assistant write?

No. Reader access is view-only.

Does removing a member delete their records?

No. Farm records remain with the farm.
