Preview only

Feed Mode exists in the Ranch.Bot codebase but is disabled for standard customer accounts. It is not part of the current SMS-first product and should not be used as a production feeding workflow today.

What the preview is designed to do

The preview code models rations, group assignments, mixer loads, delivered amounts, and feeding records. It also contains local caching and sync logic intended for weak-signal work.

That implementation is not a public offline claim. The production feature flag remains off, so customers should not rely on the preview for ration instructions, feeding records, or offline recovery.

Current supported alternatives

• Text what a group was fed through Text-in, then review the proposed Feed record in the dashboard.
• Use a Conversation or Records → New Record when entering from the web app.
• Keep ration formulation and balancing with the producer and qualified nutrition adviser. Ranch.Bot records what was decided; it does not formulate a ration.

Availability gate

A customer operating guide replaces this status page only after the feature is enabled and the online, offline, resume, sync, correction, and undo flows are verified in production conditions.
