Privacy Policy

What we collect

• Account information: your phone number (used to sign you in) and the name you provide.
• Demo request information: your name, phone number, location, availability, and browser time zone when you ask for a walkthrough.
• Farm and livestock data: the farms, animals, groups, identifiers, records, notes, Text-in messages, and files you create or send to Ranch.Bot. Texted photos are stored for the account but are not currently shown in the conversation. They are not automatically extracted into records.
• Usage data: how you use the product, including AI usage tracked for an internal fair-use guardrail and basic analytics that help improve the product. AI usage is not a billed line item.
• Payment data: handled by Stripe. We never see or store your full card number.

How we use it

• To run the product: store your records, answer your questions, sync your team.
• To process your plain-language notes with AI model providers so Ranch.Bot can prepare structured records for your review.
• To bill your subscription and applicable Team seats through Stripe.
• To send sign-in codes, Text-in replies, and requested demo messages.
• To provide support and improve the product.

We do not sell your data, and we do not share your farm records with other customers or advertisers.

Cookies, analytics, and advertising

Ranch.Bot collects page paths, referrers and a per-tab identifier when you visit, including before you choose cookie preferences. When configured, the server sends these page-view details to Segment and Google Analytics 4. Segment can link the identifier to your account after sign-in.

Configured Google Analytics and Google Ads tags load with storage consent denied until you allow it. Denied storage does not mean that no information is sent. Ahrefs Analytics waits for Analytics permission, and the browser Meta Pixel waits for Advertising permission. Separately, when configured, the server sends subscription purchase events and hashed contact details to Meta without using the browser cookie choice.

Your choices control the browser consent settings described above, not every server-side measurement. They are saved on this device. You can change them in Cookie preferences in Settings.

Where your data lives

Your data is stored in cloud infrastructure hosted on Amazon Web Services. Data is encrypted in transit and at rest, and backed up daily.

Service providers we rely on

• Amazon Web Services: hosting, storage, and authentication.
• Stripe: subscription billing and payments.
• Twilio: sending sign-in codes and carrying Text-in messages and replies.
• AI model providers: processing the notes you send to the agent.
• Google (Analytics 4, Google Ads) and Meta (Meta Pixel): advertising and analytics. Browser and server measurement follow the separate paths described above.
• Segment and Ahrefs: analytics, with the different consent behaviour described above.

Your choices

• You can download a farm ZIP archive from the web app. Its access boundaries and limits are listed in the Data Export guide.
• You can change your cookie choices any time from Cookie preferences in Settings.
• You can request deletion of your account and data by contacting support@ranch.bot.
• You can cancel your subscription at any time from Settings.
