Terms of Service

The service

Ranch.Bot is livestock recordkeeping software. You can text or enter plain-language notes, review proposed writes in the web dashboard, and download a farm ZIP archive. By creating an account you agree to these terms.

Trials, billing, and cancellation

  • Paid plans start with a 30-day free trial. A payment card is required to start the trial, and nothing is charged until the trial ends.
  • After the trial, you are billed the recurring Solo or Team plan amount and any applicable Team extra seats shown before checkout. Ranch.Bot does not add per-animal or metered-AI usage line items.
  • You can cancel anytime from Settings. Cancelling stops future billing at the end of the current billing period.
  • Payments are processed by Stripe.

Your data

  • Your farm records belong to you. The web app prepares a farm ZIP archive, subject to the access boundaries and limits in the Data Export guide.
  • We need permission to store and process your data to run the service, including sending your notes to AI model providers to turn them into records. We do not sell your data. See the Privacy Policy.

AI limitations

Ranch.Bot uses AI to interpret your notes, and AI can make mistakes. In the app and Text-in workflow, you review the assistant’s proposed changes before they run. Confirmed changes appear in Change History. You are responsible for reviewing records before relying on them. Ranch.Bot is a recordkeeping tool. It does not provide veterinary, financial, or legal advice.

Acceptable use

Use Ranch.Bot for managing your own operation's records. Don't attempt to break, overload, or reverse-engineer the service, access other customers' data, or use it for unlawful purposes.

Service availability and liability

We work hard to keep Ranch.Bot reliable and your data backed up, but the service is provided “as is” without warranties. To the maximum extent permitted by law, our liability is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months before a claim.
