Cattle Records for Cow-Calf and Seedstock Operations

Calving season doesn’t wait for a spreadsheet. Ranch.Bot turns the notes you take at the chute, in the truck, or at the kitchen table into structured cattle records (calving, weaning weights, treatments, and replacement heifers) so the herd’s history is there when you need to make a call.

What you can record

  • Calving records: cow, calf, calving ease, and birth notes
  • Weaning weights and calf crops
  • Replacement heifers and breeding groups
  • Treatments and withdrawals, by product and dose
  • Bull records and breeding soundness notes
  • Movements between pastures and groups
  • Body condition scores and weights
  • EID and visual tag IDs
  • Feed and ration records

Say it how it happened

After a short web setup, text from your registered phone or type what happened. Ranch.Bot prepares a generic record for you to review before it saves.

Synthetic examples. They are not customer records.

Common questions

Can Ranch.Bot handle a cow-calf herd?

Yes. Record calving, weaning weights, treatments, movements, and replacement heifers in plain language. Ranch.Bot keeps a full history on every cow and calf, searchable when you need it.

Can I track calving and weaning weights?

Yes. Log a calving with the cow, calf, and ease, and enter weights at weaning. The numbers land as structured records you can pull back up at sale day or breeding time.

Does it work for registered and seedstock cattle?

Yes. Record registration numbers, breeding, and the documentation buyers expect. Ranch.Bot keeps a documented history on every animal that builds trust at sale time.

Does it work with EID tags and readers?

Ranch.Bot stores EID and visual tag IDs. A Bluetooth reader in keyboard or HID mode can type an identifier into the focused web field. That is keyboard input, not a certified hardware integration. Check tag support and test your own tags before a working day.

Run more than one species?

Ranch.Bot keeps mixed operations under one set of records. Each species is recorded in its own language:
